Polynucleotides

Our bodies contain two main types of polynucleotides: DNA and RNA. DNA carries the genetic blueprint of life, holding the instructions necessary for an organism's development, survival, and reproduction. On the other hand, RNA carries out the instructions encoded in DNA by synthesizing proteins, which are crucial to an organism's structure and function. The unique structure of polynucleotides allows for the replication and transmission of genetic information from generation to generation.

As we age, the quality of the polynucleotides decreases. Concerning our skin, this is visible to the naked eye in the form of lines, wrinkles, and loss of elastin.

Scientists identified that the DNA in some fish closely replicated the DNA found in human skin cells. By injecting this directly into the skin, we get a regenerative effect similar to what our younger, undamaged DNA used to be capable of.
